No: NBFSA/BSD/REC/2026/01New Basis for Social Action (NBFSA), a registered Non-Governmental Organization working for social empowerment, disaster mitigation, and structural resilience, hereby publishes the comprehensive draft notification for direct recruitment of 18,240+ District Field Cadre Personnel under its Building Safety & Structural Resilience Wing across all States and Union Territories of India.
🎯 District-Wise Staffing Norms (Manpower Allocation)
In major state capitals, commissionerates, and major urban districts (e.g., Lucknow, Jaipur, Patna, Bhopal, Delhi NCR, Varanasi, Kanpur, Pune, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, etc.), each district unit is sanctioned a full 24-member cadre:
• 1 District Safety Officer (DSO)
• 4 Safety Managers
• 16 Field Safety Supervisors
• 1 Computer Operator / DEO
• 2 Multi-Tasking Staff (Peons / Helpers)
In Tier-2 and smaller rural/hilly districts, manpower is deployed proportionally (20 to 24 personnel) according to geographic coverage and municipal density.
Cadre Posts, Eligibility & Honorarium Matrix
Educational requirements, district quota, and consolidated monthly honorarium for all 5 sanctioned posts.

- Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Fire & Safety, or Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial/Building Safety.
- Selection Mode: Written Examination (100 Marks) + Personal Interview (50 Marks).

- Educational Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or Graduate with Certified Safety Auditor Credential.
- Selection Mode: Written Examination (100 Marks) + Technical Interview (30 Marks).

- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Safety Engg, or Graduate (B.Sc / B.A. / B.Com) / 12th Pass with Technical/ITI Field Safety Certificate.
- Selection Mode: Written Examination (100 Marks) + Field Aptitude & Viva (25 Marks).
- Application Fee: ₹500/-

- Educational Qualification: 12th Pass or Graduate with recognized Computer Certificate (DCA, CCC, O-Level, or PGDCA).
- Typing Speed: Hindi 25 wpm / English 30 wpm on computer.
- Selection Mode: Written Examination (100 Marks) + Computer Typing Skill Test.

- Educational Qualification: 10th Pass (High School) or 12th Pass from recognized board.
- Selection Mode: Written Examination & Merit List ONLY (NO INTERVIEW).
- Duties: Office file movement, dispatch of audit notices, field logistics support.

Age Slab: 18 – 40 YearsCandidates applying for any of the 5 sanctioned posts in the All India District Cadre Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the following age criteria as on the reference date:
- Applicability: The age bracket of 18 to 40 years is uniform for all 5 posts (DSO, Safety Manager, Supervisor, DEO, and MTS/Peon) across all 760+ districts.
- Authentic Date of Birth Proof: Only the Date of Birth recorded in the candidate's 10th / Matriculation Certificate or Board Marksheet will be accepted for verification.
- Cut-off Date: Age will be calculated as of 01 October 2026.

Written Examination (100 Marks • 100 MCQs)
Conducted in Offline OMR / Computer Based Test format across designated state/district test centers. Duration: 120 Minutes.

- Safety Manager: Technical Audit Competency Interview (30 Marks).
- Field Safety Supervisor: Field Practical Demo & Viva (25 Marks).
- Computer Operator (DEO): Computer Typing Test (Qualifying Nature).
